Safeguarding Policy

Safeguarding

Many Hands recognises our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all that use our platform. We see Safeguarding as a priority and promoting the wellbeing and welfare of our community is at the heart of everything that we do.

We will endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels respected and valued. We will be alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and will follow our policies and procedures to ensure that everyone receives effective support and protection from harm.

The Many Hands Safeguarding Policy is developed to protect all our student mentors and mentees. These policies are introduced on application or during training, as relevant. The Safeguarding Lead for Many Hands is the Mentoring Programme Coordinator, who can be contacted by emailing info@manyhandsproject.uk. Students can also contact the Safeguarding Leads at their own places of study.
